FAQ
Can the whole family be in the photos?
Yes, family portraits can be taken on solid backdrops. Single person portraits can be done on most of the backdrops found from clicking the link above.
What if I want additional images?
Not a problem! You will have the option to purchase additional images when your gallery is delivered. Additional images are $30 each or 4 for $100.
Do you have props we can use?
Yes, I have some props. If there is something specific you want - let me know!
Do you offer prints or wall art?
Absolutely! Approximately 2 weeks after your session, your photos will be ready to download. At this time you can download your photos from the gallery, share them to social media, and order prints/wall art!
I have a specific theme/backdrop in mind. Do you do custom themes?
Yes, for an additional $100 I will create a custom set based on your theme or purchase the backdrop you wish to use. This fee may be waived if it's something I'm willing to add to my collection. Just ask!
When should I book my session? How do I book?
It's best to book your session 4-6 weeks in advance. CUSTOM SESSIONS MUST BE BOOKED AT LEAST 5 WEEKS PRIOR TO the session date in order to source the proper materials and build the set. Just click the "book a session" box below to get started!
What's an online gallery?
The online gallery is a link to your images. I send you all the usable images from the session so you can choose which ones you would like. After you choose your images, I will make any final edits/retouching that is needed. I will then send you the link again when your images are ready to download. You can download the images right from the online gallery. The purpose of the online gallery is so that you can view and choose your images on your own schedule. We don't have to meet up again to view and choose images.
Do I have to pay the whole amount up front?
Nope! Just $125 is due at the time of booking to hold your spot. This is a non-refundable deposit/retainer session fee that covers time & talent, use of props, and the set design. The balance is due 24 hours prior to the session. Your session is not booked until the deposit/retainer is received and the contract is signed. For these sessions, the session fee is built into the package price.
What's your turnaround time?
Up to 3 weeks from start to finish during the busy season. You will receive your proofs within one week of your session. From there you have one week to choose your images. After you make your selections, I will send you your final images within one week from the date you make your choices. The quicker you make your selections, the quicker you will get. your photos back. Please keep in mind these are maximum time lines and I do try to turnaround galleries as quickly as possible.
I do offer rush editing for an additional fee. With rush editing, you will receive your proofs within 36 hours, you have 24 hours to make your selections and you will receive your edited gallery within 48 hours of finalizing your selections.
